Front Calf Strengthening with a Therapy Band

Sit comfortably in an upright position on the edge of a chair. Secure one end of a therapy band to the foot of a bed or sofa and secure the other end around your right ankle. Your right leg is elevated about 45 degrees.
Next, flex your right foot and toes toward you. You'll feel a muscular contraction in the front of your right leg. Relax and return to the starting position.
